ぶつかり幾

A Butsukarigeiko machine.

I designed it to copy the resistance of the defending Rikishi in Butsukarigeiko. It is invaluable when doing Keiko by yourself, since Butsukari should compose the core of Keiko.

Without additional weight it weighs 130 kg.

The key when practicing charging and pushing with the Butsukariki is to get a powerful hit at the Tachiai and follow strongly with Suriashi pushing the machine. It must not be a static pushing exercise but rather a powerful Suriashi practice with a powerful hit at the Tachiai.

The process is the same as in Butsukarigeiko, therefore the key is to slam hard into the machine, hit with both hands and head and push, if you run out of Power and the machine stops moving fast, you take a step back, as if pushed by the Aite and slam into the machine again.

Try to do a long Butsukarigeiko session against the machine, as if an Aite is resisting your Offense.

If you do not have a strong Aite with whom you can practice Butsukarigeiko every day you must practice with the Butsukariki, it's absolutely essential.

Build this machine and focus your Keiko on developing Power via doing Butsukari against it.
