The meaning of Keiko is embedded in its literal name. Its idea is to improve yourself via focusing on ancient truths relevant to building one's soul, and meticulously employing these in practice, and then reflecting on this.
The key content of Keiko is Permanent Improvement. This means that you do Keiko not to maintain form or preserve your skill, but to improve. Every Keiko is another improvement step. You do it to improve every day. Therefore the Three-days Setback concept is of utmost importance.
