HaRET runs GNU/Linux on the Universal. Usually, the way to get feedback from HaRET, you connect the Universal to a PC, telnet in, and log output from there.</p>

If you need output from a specific HaRET command though, it's not necessary to hook up to a PC. There is a simple procedure which will log the output to a text file directly on the Universal.
