Most men are Little People. This has nothing to do with Body size.
They are little because of the size of their Spirit.
They spend their lives in Mediocrity worrying about petty things and pass away into oblivion.
They never accomplish aything great, never aspire to Greatness, and never take the opportunity to accomplish something Extraordinary, demonstrating unbelievable Courage.
Because of this they are inconsequential. Their Opinions have no Meaning and their Praise no Value. This is why the opionions, praise, and criticism from Fans is of no importance it doesn't mean anything. Fans mostly follow the spectacle but have little insight beyond what happens on the Dohyou. When a fan slaps you on the shoulders and congratulates you on your Win it's nothing to be proud of. It's nothing to be ashamed of either. It's just nothing, has no Meaning. Nothing to reflect on.
Many people know the Way, but there is a big difference between knowing the Way and actually walking it.
The goal of a Rikishi is to build himself up to be the tallest mountain he can imagine, irrespective of the terrain around him. That's what it means to be a Warrior, the antithesis of being a Little Man.
