階級

Oozumou has six Divisions. From top to bottom these are:

1. Makuuchi 2. Juuryou 3. Makushita 4. Sandanme 5. Jonidan 6. Jonokuchi

There is also Maezumou, which is however not a division. It ranks even below Jonokuchi.

All the Divisions and the Rikishi which compose them are published for each Basho by the Nihon Sumou Kyoukai on the Bandzuke.
